It does what it says on the tin. I just wish that as a consumer I didn't have to pay more money to further treat my tap water so that it doesn't taste like chemicals. If all we need is a filter to remove chemicals, can't we offer it as a public service? In any case, it is smaller, if there are more than 2 people I would advise buying one size larger. I can take out an entire pitcher myself in less than a day, but it doesn't take up too much fridge space and my water tastes better.
