Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Dreame Bot Z10 Pro Global, black by Dagmara Brzeziska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

Chose sooo long. I read and reviewed a bunch of reviews and reviews. I wanted it with a self-cleaning base. Cheaper models seem to be no worse in description, but they were scared away by reviews of unreliability. The more expensive ones are often very, very expensive. Criteria for selection: 1. Very important - the filtration system. I was unpleasantly surprised that many manufacturers began to install only a HEPA filter and that's it. Brr - hesitate to clean the dust with a brush. There must be three steps. Mesh + foam rubber + HEPA. Then I washed the mesh, washed the foam rubber, and HEru lightly tapped on the edge of the sink - that's all. 2. The presence of a docking station where the robot can call in with a wet rag. Well, it is desirable to have a larger bag of garbage (it reduces the cost of operation). It's a pity there is no HEPA filtering in the station itself. So far, only Roborock has this. But it's expensive, a small bag. And if you use it without a bag (cyclone), then it makes no sense - you need to clean it after two or three days and also brush the dust from the filter . brrr. 3. Navigation system, control via the application, the presence of a camera and obstacle avoidance are welcome. 4. Washing was not very important for me - all these rags are about nothing. I'm waiting for the appearance of a full-fledged washer robot with a docking station with washing napkins. In general, the purchase is very satisfied. I already had experience in operating the robot and I like this one much more. Oriented perfectly. Objects thrown on the floor go around, not wind up. Vacuum clean. on carpets automatically raises the suction power. The docking station also pleased me - for 2 months I didn’t touch the vacuum cleaner from the word at all, but the compartment in the robot is clean - beauty. I put 4 and not five only for a very poor package at not the lowest price on the market compared to analogues.

Pros
  • 1. The presence of a self-cleaning station 2. Good navigation with building a floor plan. 3. The presence of a camera (allows you to go around objects forgotten on the floor. I tested it with a toe - I very carefully drove around it from all sides, and didn’t wind it up - it’s a pity you can’t insert a video) 4. Control from an application on a smartphone with the ability to set various modes. (although with a caveat - I would like to implement more management options, for example, the ability to set different modes for different rooms or zones, it would be cool to be able to remotely turn on the video camera and drive around to see what is happening in the apartment, etc.)) 5. Integrates with Mi Home and Alice. 6. Inexpensive consumables (I ordered a kit - a turbo brush, 4 side brushes, 4 HEPA filters, 3 washcloths, 7 bags for the station) and all this for 2.5 thousand) 7. It can park at the station with a wet rag, while the self-cleaning function still works, and the floor under the rag does not get wet (this is far from being the case for all models with the station!) 8. The largest among all models on the market (at the moment) a bag for collecting garbage - 4 l. (after two months of daily cleaning, I changed the bag - God forbid it was a quarter full, that is, I can easily change it every six months. True, I litter a little, and I don’t have any wild living creatures like a cat, a dog or a wife))) 9. Self-cleaning works well - after two months I removed the container for cleaning - inside is clean (see photo). 10. Overcomes fairly high thresholds (I was able to drive into the bathroom where the threshold is about 3cm, amazing) 11. One of the highest suction power in the class.
Cons
  • 1. Only two-stage filtration - grid + HEPA (I consider the minimum necessary three-stage - grid + washable foam filter + HEPA. In fairness, vacuum cleaners with ONE stage filtration have appeared - only HEPA - do not take these, you are tormented to clean!) By the way, attention! The instructions say the filters are washable. Mesh yes. But no HEPA! It's paper - don't wash it. It must be tapped and cleaned with a brush. And by the way, I made the foam rubber filter myself (I cut it out of the foam rubber filter for the hood - see photo). After that, HERu can be practically not cleaned. 2. There is no filtration in the docking station other than the bag itself. (add the same HEPA filter at the outlet, otherwise some of the dust will fly back into the air through the bag). 3. Periodically "unstuck" from the Wi-Fi network (twice in 2 months). After that, it becomes impossible to control the vacuum cleaner from the application. It is treated by rebooting the router. 4. The lack of a remote control (see above - if you "fall off" from Wi-Fi, or in principle for any other reason there will be no Internet. Control will be stupidly reduced to on / off-home, on the case. The remote control could insure. There are also older people who are not friendly with smartphones.) 5. A small compartment for water (although my apartment is 60m2, it is enough at maximum supply and still remains) 6. Poor, I would even say miserable, equipment (Moreover, when unpacking, there were a lot of empty compartments in the box. That is, apparently, a much richer equipment was originally supposed, but then someone was "crushed by a toad." Considering that for 2 thousand I bought the richest set that will last me for three years, see above (rather, the vacuum cleaner will die), and you need to understand that this is with delivery, customs, outbid interests, etc., that is, the cost of 500 is very strange) 7. Large dimensions. (it doesn’t fit everywhere where my previous Gutrend Slim went, for example, it doesn’t fit between the legs of chairs in the kitchen) 8. No indication of a full bag, clogged filters, running out of water, etc.
