Review on 💦 Oxysept Disinfecting Solution: Neutralizer Ultracare Formula, 12 oz. - Effective Germ-killing Solution by Brook Johnson

This is the best peroxide based sanitizer I have found. I've tried both Clear Care Plus (CLEAR CARE PLUS cleaning disinfectant with lens case, twin pack, 12 oz each) and CVS All Purpose and both resulted in burns after about 2 weeks of use. I use this solution along with Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Daily Eye Cleanser, 1 oz, OPTI-FREE Supra Clens Daily Protein Remover, 3 mL, and Sensitive Eyes Saline Plus Saline, 12 fl oz (2-pack) (the last two I buy locally). I have found that this combination works best with Biofinitiy lenses and should work well with other soft silicone hydrogel lenses as well. So here is my daily routine. At night I remove both lenses and put them in an open lens. Then I take a lens at a time, wipe it down with B&L cleaner and put it back in the lens holder. I then rinse each lens with saline, insert the lens, and close the holder. I now fill the lens cup with disinfectant solution and add a few drops of protein remover if desired. I find I don't need to add the drops every day, but if I don't do it for 4-5 days I get a little irritation. Finally add the neutralizing tablet, screw the lens holder onto the glass and invert 3-6 times. In the morning, make sure the solution is completely pink. Invert the container a few times and come back after a few minutes if the solution doesn't look like it's completely mixed. After opening my lens case, I like to give them a quick rinse with saline. I pick up the lens with the OptiWand lens filter, put a few drops of saline on the lens and put it in place. Now I'm ready for a new day and have found that I don't need to use moisturizer drops most of the time. Skin cells on the fingers end up on the lenses. It also helps keep salt drops or moisturizing drops on the lens, which is almost impossible with your finger.
