Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

My evaluation is geared mostly for individuals who already use a MacBook 12 and are debating whether or not to make a transition. In comparison to the MacBook 12 2022, which has a m3 processor and 8 gigabytes of memory, its sluggishness started to become annoying, the screen is small (for tables and text), and I needed a quick unlock. I went online and read some reviews of the MacBook Air with the M1 processor, and then I went to an Apple store and looked at the MacBook Air with the Intel live processor. After evaluating its screen size, dimensions, and keyboard, I decided to purchase it. I went with the one that was the least expensive and it had 256 GB of SSD storage, 8 GB of Memory, and 7 processing cores. I got it the day before yesterday, and "moved" it in the evening. The following are some initial thoughts and reactions: The keyboard is different, but I'm already getting used to it. My fingers "fall into" it more, the distance between the keys is greater, the small "left-right" arrows are unusual, and I switch the language by using Control-command out of habit (probably because the setting has migrated). I'm still not used to using Fn, though. The menu, and not the buttons themselves, is responsible for regulating the backlighting of the keyboard's keys. I was able to heat it up substantially, and when I ran a complete scan on it with Kaspersky's antivirus software, the battery ran out of juice very soon. Today, a far smaller amount was spent; I did not carry out any tests; however, I did "drive" a little; however, the difference can already be felt. It was really frustrating to sometimes have to wait until you managed to type a message, but now the pace of work has substantially increased, and Teams does not slow down. According to reports, Kaspersky functioned ten times faster despite remaining unchanged (full check). Switches on or reboots very quickly, enables instant login via Touch ID, and may also be used to enter passwords on websites very quickly. Apps on the iPhone and iPad that I have not tried are ones that I do not require. Earnings have been made by the necessary software. I utilize a web browser and the Microsoft Office suite. I am pleased with the performance; it has made my work both quicker and more pleasant. I will add a bit more by saying that "lags" with Microsoft Office (Tims) are still seen at times. For my part, I'm pleased with how the change has gone thus far.

Pros
  • The progression of the purchase procedure (made on the Apple website), the method of payment, and the distribution of the product. Outstanding wrapping with practical "tongues" to assist in opening the boxes. Even the edges of the notebook have a really high-quality feel to them, which makes the notebook itself quite pleasant to touch. Silent. Transfer data from one MacBook to another without any difficulty. Extended shelf life of the battery. The speed at which Touch ID can unlock devices and enter passwords on websites is impressive.
Cons
  • There were problems with the Bluetooth pairing on Apple headphones (the first generation of AirPods just would not connect). I made the decision to reset the Bluetooth module by holding down the Option and Shift keys while clicking on the BT icon. After that, I rebooted the device. Both the weight and the size are substantially higher than those of the MacBook 12. More "lyrics" can be found in the comments.
