I want to love this brush. I want to like this brush. However, it is not of the same quality as my wire brush. I bought the wire brush and this at the same time because I liked the width and the reviews were good. I bought a wire brush as a backup if that doesn't work. Well I've had both for about 2 months now and I found this brush just hanging on the grill. I unconsciously reach for the wire brush. Now I've made a few changes and tried to force myself to use this brush. I smack it on the grate and then realize it just hasn't been cleaned to my liking, then have to smack it again with a wire bristle brush. If I'm in a hurry, I don't even give it a chance. Now the brush itself is strong and of high quality. and again i really want to like it but when it comes to cleaning grilles it's just bad work. Why clean the grates twice when I can just brush them with a wire bristle brush and that's it? I will keep this as a backup in case my wire bristle brush breaks, gets lost or becomes a dog chew toy, but until then it will be relegated to my second cleaning choice.
