My setup was in our 26ft RV. This was more of a challenge as there are no real "studs" in the walls to attach yourself to. The unit came with a variety of hardware as described to allow for different types of installation. The back plate is designed to fit perfectly into the mounting holes of most TVs on the market, including the Roku Smart TV that I installed. The only thing that bothered me was that the lever adjustment screws are all different sizes, with different tool formats. (from large Phillips to hex star and hex key). Some are much easier to manipulate with a good set of ratchet wrenches (they also come in different sizes). Once you're set up, you'll be golden!
