Review on Sony Alpha ILCE-7M2 Body, Black: High-Performance Camera for Professional Photography by Micha Borkowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

The 5 because there is no such thing as perfection. In most respects, it's an excellent tool. Thanks to the stabilizer, you can use a shutter speed of 1/4 to 1/10 when shooting handheld. It's correct that you'll need a slower shutter speed if your subject is moving. A 50 mb/s SDXC flash disk is required for recording video. Several software restrictions exist, such as the inability to record video over ISO 200 or in the range 1600. It has the capability of 4k recording but chooses not to. I'm anticipating Canon releasing firmware on par with ML. Branded batteries have twice the capacity of generic or outdated camera batteries. Having the smartphone serve as a viewfinder and transmit the image to the computer in real time was a fantastic feature. Sony has an app store, however only interval shooting is actually useful. When the viewfinder's sensor takes too long to make a decision, you may need to move your head 20 to 30 centimeters away from it before the screen takes over. Even if it's a question of personal preference, I found the video record button to be awkwardly placed. Similar to other professional DSLRs in terms of noise, but at a much more affordable price. The a7s is unquestionably superior for recording video, but the camera's 12 megapixel resolution and lack of a stub are both extremely embarrassing. Of course, there's a7sII, but it costs twice as much. The A7II is a middle ground. Also, "Stability in everything," as it says off-site.

Pros
  • -High-performance, full-frame sensor (low noise, 24mp) - Stunning five-axis damper Viewpoint mounting -High-Tech Video Recording (50p, s-log, XAVC-S) HFC, Wi-Fi, and the Capability to Install Any Adapted Android App -Heavy, solid, and constructed to last. Indicators of programmable controls
Cons
  • -Limited options for optics (so far small) Low power -S-log generates a great deal of video noise and is limited to an ISO of 1600; no 4k resolution is supported. Autofocus is slow.
