I order size 8 (US), EU size listed is 39 for my mother who wears US 8, EU 38 which she thinks is a bit big on the toe, she likes tighter shoes. I wear US 7.5 EU 37 and I think it fits well, I like the one that gives my feet room and the shoe fits snugly on my feet so I can wear it without slipping. I go in it, it's very comfortable except it can be too hot for any other time of the year except winter. In general, it is a warm and tight shoe that fits EU size 37-39 feet, consider that winter shoes may be a better choice.
