First of all, I don't know what real waxed leather is, but it's NOT real leather! It stinks horribly. The texture is not gritty (maybe it's wax), it has a lot of slits, a zipper and space for things. So the purse is great! But the material is deceptive because it is not real leather. Period. Point. Empty. I'm considering going. I do not know. The smell is rancid. No need for a photo, it looks like a photo but the grain seems faint, almost non-existent in real life. I'm giving two stars because it's advertised as leather but it smells sooooo bad, like chemicals and artificial stuff.
