***Update*** Added video of snorkeling in Hawaii. I was only able to upload one video and Revain reduced the video quality to a far cry from the original quality! I uploaded it to show the field of view and how it performs underwater with nothing but a camera. Your videos will look much better. Final Edit: Shot some videos underwater while snorkeling and some videos of whales breaching. Since Revain reduces the quality of the video, I've removed a few frames from the video to give you an idea of the quality when capturing video above and below the water. I strongly recommend installing a polarizing filter on your camera. There is nothing wrong with this model, even GoPro uses a polarizing cap. But it will really take videos and photos to the next level on very bright days or underwater. But overall still very happy with its performance! I recorded over an hour of video underwater and only about 2 hours underwater with photos and had no problems. Water never leaked when contained and didn't fog up. Another great camera for the price. Edit: Added some photos from our trip. Can't wait to go snorkeling and shoot an underwater video of it in a few days. This camera was great! Its size makes it SO easy to carry around and take videos or photos. I use the little remote control all the time! Most of the time I use one of the selfie sticks and tether the remote to it. That way I can pop out the stick for a photo I can't get close enough to, or dozens of other things, and of course real selfies. But the small remote control is perfect for taking photos or recording. I didn't think I would use it, but I was wrong. The field of view of the lens is also incredible. I've found that I can rarely fit everything I want into an image. Even if you are as close as at home, everything fits into the picture. I used the camera's WiFi to film this couple. I will upload the underwater video as soon as I have it. We're going to Hawaii and wanted something for underwater photos and videos. After looking around, I settled on this camera because of the great price and video quality. I've never found a reason to spend a few hundred on a GoPro because at that price I couldn't use it. We already have a Canon 7D, so we don't need anything to take better pictures. Now that I have it, I would like to buy it sooner. Videos and photos look amazing for such a small, affordable camera. The WiFi function is also great. I haven't used it to control the camera yet, but I used to take videos and pictures with my phone. I couldn't tell if 4K video is really better than 1080p because my phone doesn't have that high resolution. The only downside is the menu options for changing modes and entering settings. bulky, but I don't expect much from it. Will update after further use, snorkeling etc in Hawaii but for now it was great.
