Pleasant stuff. Not too thick like a canvas and not too thin like a sheet. I like it because it's 100% cotton with no linen. I find linen thin, with a very open weave, like cloth. This is a tight weave. It is white. I bought it to lighten when needed for spots and such but my only complaint is that some whites are blue and shimmery and they have it. My understanding is that the fabric manufacturer adds touches of blue to make the white a more vibrant white. but if they don't use the right formula, it leaves a bluish cast. Sometimes even pink.
