I was looking for a small rechargeable battery FM radio for my kitchen and it exceeded my expectations. The sound is excellent and loud enough (no distortion). Memory programming is automated, which is good, but it then assigns stations as they are found, so you can't put your #1 station in memory #1. However, I tend to always leave it at the same station, so it's not a big factor. I turn on the radio when I cook or clean, and the radio is loud enough to listen to while I work. It's small enough not to get in the way and I can put it in my pocket if I want to take it to another room. PROS: Small, loud, good looking radio with long lasting battery. CONS: Strange tuning and storing stations in memory (minor)
