The screw base allows for use with a standard drawbar found at a large hardware store. Now I can easily wipe the air conditioner vents on the 12-foot ceiling and clean the chains and lamps on the light fixtures that hang above the dining table and in the foyer. Effortlessly remove clumps of dust from ceilings and high corners. The ball brush from the same company is stiffer and works in many other high areas where a stiffer brush is needed. I'm so tired of looking for this type of brush in big stores that want to sell you a cleaning system that uses attachments that require a special rod (sliding clips or locking balls) instead of a standard screw-on rod.
