Whilst I haven't tested my Mavic Mini with this device I think it will work as intended . The plastic cover over the aluminum reflector was difficult to remove as others have said. At first it seemed like there was no coverage, but why would a company use a takedown warning sticker before using it? Anyway, what worked for me was to use a heat gun to soften the plastic a bit (not too hard to melt the plastic) and then use a piece of Gorilla tape on the plastic wrap. Even then, it took a little force to remove it, but it moved away quickly. Does it matter if this tape is removed or not. That's a good question!
