This railing works better than pool noodles! It's semi-circular so one side is flat and stays in place with little handles. The top is a semi-circle and very soft yet durable memory foam. It's big enough to keep my daughter from rolling out of bed but soft enough not to wake her up. When she wakes up, she can easily climb over it to get out of bed. Covering the sheets helps protect him and the sheet still rides over him and partially down the edge of the bed, but not quite. This is a great solution and calms me down so I don't worry about her falling out of bed at night.
