It was well protected in bubble wrap. The case is ordinary plastic, nothing flashy. I will say that the glossy center makes it easy to spot on the counter (when that side is up). Dark blue color. What particularly struck me was the concave shape of the other mirrors, which was very distracting. This mirror is much better quality and costs a few dollars less.
