Very elastic, held the ponytail all day
These hair ties worked very well. I just wore it all day (12 hours straight) and it kept my ponytail in place all day. It took 3 loops to wrap it around my hair. It didn't slip and I didn't have to adjust it. The woven material is very elastic. Hard plastic plug. I forgot to pull the hair tie out and just tugged all the way. The hair did not pull and did not feel uncomfortable. I really like multicolored braids. They are very summery.
