I bought these to use as my primary footwear for a winter trip to Lake Tahoe. I wore them in deep snow, sledding, and hiking and they kept my feet dry, warm, and comfortable. One of the hikes we went on was very muddy and I worried that the shoes would be difficult to clean but after a few kicks in the snow, they looked as good as new.
