I always get a little nervous when I buy replacement laptop cables - hear stories of overheating, catching fire or whatever. But my cats chewed the cable from my last laptop when they were kittens, so I had to buy a new one. I've had it for a few months and it works great! I had no problems using it. It works just like the original. I did my research before purchasing and made sure everything matched my original cable in order to get the correct replacement.
