I have an RV with a roof mounted air conditioner. The compressor is frozen and will not start. I added this capacitor and when I turned it on the compressor gave a big boost and started right away. Then everything went easier and faster. This capacitor saved my AC unit. I'm also planning on installing one in my 5000 BTU AC window unit so I can get it to work with a small 1000w inverter generator that will last 10 hours on a gallon of gas.
