Review on π§ͺ 1 Pound Potassium Chloride KCl by Sean Davis
Not pure KCl or even close. Contains a high proportion of insoluble substances.
Assuming it was potassium chloride, I tried to make a 3 molar solution (22.4 g per 100 ml of water) but even when I heated the water to 50 Β°C it dissolved not up. The solubility of KCl is 31g/100ml at 20 degrees, so it is nothing but pure KCl and the product label does not indicate the purity or other contents.
