Review on ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Ozeri Artesio Soft-Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder, BPA-Free, Enhanced Black SEO by Dylan Deng

simple, perfect, just right

Exactly what I was looking for. I looked for an electric pepper mill at Bed, Bath and Beyond but was not at all happy with their choice. Some of them didn't contain enough paprika and required too many fillers, some seemed difficult to use due to weird button layouts, most were just too expensive and they usually required 6 AAA or more, which also added to the running costs. This grinder has the perfect button placement right on the side - easy to activate with your thumb or finger wrapped around the device. It contains just enough pepper not to irritate it with too much refilling. The different degrees of fineness to which you can grind peppers are quite diverse as you don't have to limit yourself to cuts. Just turn the thumbscrew until you like the size of the peppers. It also looks like a powerful grinding mechanism. The light at the bottom that lights up where your pepper falls is pretty nifty too. If it ever gets stuck or resists, just give it a little shake when the button is pressed as there's probably too much ground pepper for the batteries to power the motor (if you've already drained the batteries a bit). and shaking removes some of the pepper from the grinder. All in all it was exactly what I was looking for. It uses 4 AA (much more common than AAA in my house) and should last a long time. I'll probably buy a few more to grind for sea salt, dried rosemary, and any other new spices I want to try. I could probably make my own herb/spice mix to grind straight onto the meat as that seems to be the trend in the spice section of supermarkets these days.
