Review on Silicone Measuring Dispensing Dropping Pipettes by Wendy Rodriguez

Great mugs! Miscellaneous fur

I first bought these for mugs and they work great with resin. If I had anything to complain about, the numbers printed on the inside of the large mugs collect dried resin, so make sure you clean the measurement numbers well. But I don't think it's a big deal, really. Strong yet flexible, the little cups are great for mixing colors. I microwaved a composite mold in one of the small cups with no problems, but it only took about 15 seconds, so not a very long test. (And if you haven't tried ComposiMold, give it a try, it's awesome!) Stir...paddle? ... work well. The handles are thin and flat, like plastic forks, so there's nothing to hold on to - if you have problems with your hands, this might not be very comfortable for you. My hands start cramping after about 3 minutes of stirring. These are plastic blades so the resin dries and sticks to them, but it's also pretty easy to chip and peel off. However, it is not as easy as if it were a silicone spatula. They are alright. Not great, not terrible, they're ok. Instead, I will most likely use silicone "brushes" for masks. Or go back to popsicles, at least the ones that don't need cleaning. The silicone mat was a big disappointment. I was expecting it to be like cups where the dried resin would bounce off with ease. Instead it tends to stick to small bits of the paint layer and rip them off when you rip off the resin. I tried making some curly little bits of resin on them (like rainbow shapes) and they removed a lot of the blue plastic layer from them. Also, it's only the size of a sheet of paper, it's quite small. I prefer an unpainted large silicone nail art mat. Plastic pipettes, wooden popsicle sticks. You are not very attractive when buying, are you? It's just a matter of making sure the "36" parts are true. Verdict - Buy if you like the price of both large and small silicone mugs; treat the rest as useful packing material. If you get it for the mat and paddles, you might reconsider that idea. 2 silky resin thumbs for the silicone cups and a big shrug for the rest of the articles.

Pros
  • ☀ Silicone mat does not deform and is flexible, excellent workbench protection. Silicone stirrers are better than wooden stirrers, durable and reusable. Fingertips can protect fingers from hurt and keep fingers clean. Transfer pipettes are easy to use and washable
Cons
  • Crumpled
