Ugh the overlay on it is just awful. But the rest of the design (the downward-sloping cheeseboard surfaces on both the front and back) is too good to ignore, and really makes for an ergonomic setup if you get it right. I just really, really wish the pad was better, a multi segmented gel pad like the one on Smallrig's shoulder strap. To be honest, the hole pattern wasn't great either, and I ended up using bolts with NUTS on them to mount the QR base where I really wanted it because the holes that were right there where I needed it they needed were NOT THREADED.
