Life is about change. I also like to keep it simple. Who would have thought there would be a time when you wouldn't have to stand in the scorching heat at the hottest grilling temperature to clean the grates? I like my MHP with the sear plate, the problem is the sear plate doesn't allow grease to fall onto the ceramic underneath so it builds up. They are pincers similar to wood scrapers that only make 2 channels per pinch. I burned mine top to bottom while preheating. I did some research to see if there is a better way. And then I found this awesome grill brush. They not only clean the grill when it has cooled down, but also effortlessly. You can feel the nylon brushes pick up dirt, but with minimal effort and without scratching the anodized finish. Awesome technology in an awesome app means better grilling.
