Curad vs. Covidien 8 x 3 Sterile Pads: Caesarean section requires Covidien

. This is a seal comparison. Purpose: I used them to cover an open wound after a cesarean during drainage. The hospital gave me Curad pads, but I still had Covidien pads after my first cesarean. I ordered both from Revain after my surgery. Non-stick property: Curad sticks less to the wound. The Covidien feels firmer while the Curad feels softer. Shape retention: Covidien hold their 8x3 shape better because they're stretched and lay flat, while Curad comes folded in a small package (so they're 4x3 again until they open). The pads were placed (not taped) in front of my underwear wound, so keeping the 8x3 shape was the most important thing for me. Covidien has never lost its shape. They didn't sag or sink. They stayed where they were. Kurad never retained its rectangular shape. They kept folding depending on how they arrived (folded) and awkwardly changing angles. General preference: I preferred Covidien for my caesarean wound.
