They came with no instructions, but when I've replaced these batteries over the years I've always been instructed to fully charge the new battery (16 hours for my AT&T phones). I did this and the next day the battery died after 15 minutes of talking on the phone. Thinking it was a dock/charger I used a different dock and charged again for 16 hours. I was just using the phone and it turned off again after 5 minutes. UPDATE: I then fully charged the 2nd battery on the trio (16 hours) and it was dead after 15 minutes of use. All 3 are being returned at the moment I bought a replacement pack but will only be returning them because this is crazy and still never happened, but I bought a different brand at the time.
