I bought these to use with a Keurig K-40 coffee maker. They work great and are great value. Highly recommended. Having recently cleaned my Keurig and put in a new water filter, I found with regret that the coffee maker wasn't working properly - it didn't seem to boot properly and buzzed and buzzed with no output. .After a bit of troubleshooting I found that air was getting into the water filter assembly and apparently preventing the pump from working properly. So here's a tip: Follow the instructions for preparing a new water filter (soak in tap water for at least five minutes and rinse to remove loose carbon particles). Then carefully "tilt" the filter unit almost horizontally when inserting it into the water tank. This allows air trapped in the filter unit (as indicated by bubbles) to escape. Finally, reattach the filter to the inlet at the bottom of the water tank and you're done.
