After activating them for 6-8 hours on a sunny day and turning them on both sides, they still did their job "good" ". Removing musty odors in two small closets and made no noticeable difference in the master bedroom closet - even using two large bags together. The two pairs of shoes I tried them with showed little difference after a week with bags. I assume they're fine for small, slightly smelly rooms, but I don't see them powerful enough to fight strong odors or large spaces. Febreze works much better. It's only been about 2-1/2 weeks and it says they only need to be charged monthly, but I'll try charging them again to see if there's a difference. They're well packaged and appear to be well made - they even come with metal shackles - but the bottom line is they just don't do the job as they should. Pretty disappointed.
