I had high hopes for this tool but it didn't work the way I thought it would. I have an old motorcycle engine that is stuck and rusting. With lots of heat from my blowtorch and this tool, I figured I could part the sleeves. The 6mm rods that screw into the mounting holes in the side cover were severely deformed under heavy pressure. I switched to 6mm head screws with lots of heat then the arms started to flex so I gave up. It can work for a non-rusty engine, but it is not suitable for a blocked engine!
