Review on Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 6/128 GB, Dual nano SIM, blue by Dimitar Arnaudov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

The most important features of a smartphone are a high-quality camera (I shoot a lot of video and photos of my family) and a large display. This is why Samsung flagships are my go-to. Were an S5, S7, S9+, and S10+ (he's now married). I gave a lot of other phones a try, but their cameras just couldn't compare to the Samsung S-series (especially in terms of color reproduction). This time around, 35-40K was available, so I could choose either the very antiquated but still good S9 + or S20fe camera. Having read the evaluations, I settled on the last one for 39.000 and gave it a shot. Hence, to be specific: One, a camera. Not one bit of disappointment, either. In particular, we compared it to my wife's S10+ and found that the primary sensor's improved image quality (1.8 microns vs. 1.4 pixels) was noticeable when viewed on a computer display. The advantage is particularly apparent when photographing at night, which I found to be rather satisfying. We care most about how well it can analyze children's faces and how accurately it can express shades of skin tone. The video is also very well stabilized and enjoyable to watch, but the sound quality is far more impressive. Display 2. Disappointed. Although AMOLED, colors are brighter and more vibrant on the S10+. The old S7 is no match for it. Standard 50. 3. SoC. Since I've had several Exynos flagships and never had any issues with top games (other than the case being heated), I used to be dubious of criticism about Exynos processors. But things went from bad to worse this time: at 40 degrees Celsius, the phone now reduces GPU frequency by a factor of 2.5 (measured in the benchmark). Also, the brightness can be reduced by as much as half! The temperature of the device exceeds 40 degrees after only 4 minutes of play. I don't get why games, in addition to throttling, drop the brightness; this disrupts even normal, day-to-day use; it happens even when you're just installing an app. The gadget is clearly not built for demanding games (again, this has never been an issue with Samsung's flagship devices in the past).

Pros
  • First, cameras offer the best value for the money (see comments for specifics). I opted for this gadget because of its camera capabilities. Exceptional everyday performance in terms of the processor: lightning-fast UI, browser, gallery, and banking applications. But only up until the point of demanding duties and games. (see comments for further explanation). Third, the volume is impressive, and the highs are clear and precise thanks to the dual speakers. Frequencies are low, about the norm. Fourth, I'm relieved they didn't ditch the water resistance and wireless charging features. 5 The plastic construction is surprisingly sturdy.
Cons
  • 1. Display (see comment for clarification) Second, severe cpu throttling (see comments for additional info on this). At 90% screen brightness and 60hz scanning, I get 5 hours of screen time in my scenario (I rarely play games, but I capture a lot of photographs / videos). Fourth, 120hz didn't even try, knowing that it would cause much less runtime and more processor throttling. Fifth, the S10+'s flagship design and feel in your hand aren't as satisfying as they typically are because of the case.
