I recently bought several of these for a company party; People use their iPads during the meeting and need to keep them functional. The participants really appreciated the practical placement on the conference table. It is good if there are both regular outlets and USB ports. They are strong with a good LONG cord. I also travel with one of these for use in a hotel room (the long cord allows me to use my devices without being pushed against a wall or bedside table). Also handy if you find that many bedside sockets in hotel rooms are too loose and won't charge your stuff. I like having my own and not worried about the hotel's crappy outlets! I highly recommend it.
