I have ordered UNC and metric kits. I ordered them because I couldn't find HSS and not 4 times the price. If you're into manufacturing, you want the more expensive parts, but they're more valuable to the hobbyist. What no one tells you is that all cheap taps are actually designed to repair threads, not form threads. I've tapped several M10-1.5 threads with no problem, but the 1/2-13 tap broke on the first try. It was a torque error, not a manufacturer error. Sometimes this even happens with good faucets. I emailed Accusize with photos and called the next day. After giving them the order details, they sent me a replacement faucet. The replacement tap is a spiral tap with 3 cutting edges (instead of 4 on the original). This results in a thicker core with less material to eat away from the grooves. Anything that breaks in my set I replace with a spiral. I would rate Accusize's service as exceptional. I saw a bad review about the drill. I think they are good for the price range. You can get the best for a lot of money. I hope users know how to drill step by step and don't try to drill big holes in one step. I intend to use the included drill bits only for 1/16" max. Use your 1/64" set to get as close to the final tap size as possible, then use the included finishing tip.
