Works well, requires software tweaks

This works well for PCs and mobile devices, but requires some software improvements. Currently, the mute and volume control window only appears when you are in a large conference, group conference/call, or cell phone call. They must add the same level of support as Teams to other popular conferencing apps. For example, Zoom now has its own phone service, but I can't use it to make phone calls using the keyboard. There's also no call log or redial option (which seems relatively easy to add). Another thing that would make it better would be if I could tap the screen to bring volume, mute, and call controls together no matter what app I'm currently using on my computer. Thus, the lack of built-in support for all of these applications becomes less of an issue. When I click on the icon representing the PC I just get a dialpad that does nothing because I don't have the supported VoIP software. I should be able to tell it to just show me the onscreen controls and not make it useful. If you use the normal zoom, the controls are displayed. So if you're a Zoom user this works fine, you just can't use it to make calls through Zoom Phone. The default themes that come with it are pretty ugly, but luckily I was able to update them after installing the PC software for it, and then a new dark theme became available, which is a nice touch. The splash screen is really annoying with the way it is currently encoded when they have time and the image disappears and then keeps reappearing. It is not possible to turn off the transition or the time display for the screen saver. Of course it could have been done better. There is also no way to simply disable the screensaver completely. I ended up setting the maximum possible duration (2 hours) and then set the backlight to turn off after the same amount of time. Looks a lot nicer and cleaner and should actually be standard in my opinion. If this came with a dark theme and backlight disabled instead of a splash screen, it would be much nicer and better if it came out of the box. Another thing to note is that the written English is pretty poor in some parts of the UI and documentation. I would recommend having this checked and corrected by a native English speaker. Furthermore, this is a product that has a lot of potential now that the rough patches have been ironed out and the software support has been improved. The audio isn't bad, but I've had instances where the audio was distorted and I had to dock and then undock the headset to fix it. This has only happened a few times in a week of use. Let's hope it's just a software bug that they can fix at some point. The headset itself is quite comfortable, but I found the earcups to be a little tighter on the ear than they probably need to be. The ears start to hurt after about two to three hours of continuous use. If you have breaks in between, that's really not bad. All in all it's a good device and I really hope they keep improving the software to make something great out of it.
