I have almost 70 fixed 2700k Halo RL4 recessed lights installed all over my house and they are excellent - they are all connected to Lutron Caseta dimmers which I think are the best dimmers Smart Home that money can buy. I bought these color temperature selectable ceiling lights (RL4069S1EWHR-CA) to replace some of my original Halo 2700k in my bathrooms, but they didn't work well with Lutron Caseta dimmers. On Caseta there is a delay when the headlights turn on - and sometimes they don't turn on at all and just blink/blink. This problem is especially pronounced when only 1-2 light sources are connected to the dimmer. The problem is a little less obvious when the lights are installed next to some of my old permanent makeshift lights. I'm assuming it's a problem with the LED driver and I'm wondering how these bulbs made it through the JA-8 approval process in the first place.
