I bought them at a discount. I've been using them almost daily for the last month as a second pair always connected to my MP3 player. My main computer headphones are also Sony and I was looking for a replacement so I bought them. However, I will keep looking. 3 stars because of not very good mids and highs. But if you love bass, you'll love this $30. Sound: I have read the reviews and they are all correct that they are BASS HEAVY. The only way to comfortably listen to my music was to adjust the sound settings on my MP3 player. If you have an equalizer or other bass management method, they will work. But even with the adjustment, the bass gets overwhelming when you crank up the volume. So if you're looking for clear highs, look elsewhere. There are some audio leaks, but I think it would only bother others if you sit somewhere quiet and turn up the volume. Fit: They are very comfortable and easy to adjust without feeling too tight or flimsy. Cups rotate to aid fit. When it's hot, your ears will sweat after wearing for a while. I just take them off, wipe them down with a cloth and put them back on when this happens. Cable: The cable is medium in length and is great for sitting at the computer. It's flat, has a square entry and feels very solid.
