Review on Rockwell RW9281 Carbide Compact Circular by William Anacker

I bought this saw to use a small generator to build a cabin in a remote area with no electricity. My generator is only rated at 1600 watts and full size saws would trip the circuit breaker and could not be used. This saw works great with a small generator. However, there are some important tips to keep in mind when using this saw. It will make good, accurate cuts if you take your time and don't get caught in it. Also cutting with a speed square or some kind of blade guide will result in the most accurate cuts. The smaller blade on this saw is not as stiff as a full size saw blade and may flex somewhat if you are not using a guide. Overall, this saw does what I expected it to do. My only complaint is that the way you have to hold the saw feels a little awkward at first but gets more comfortable over time.
