Bought for a new subwoofer which arrived same day. Although the subwoofer manufacturer claims that a standard audio cable will suffice, this cable must be routed along the wall adjacent to the electrical wiring, so it is recommended that double-shielded cable be used to reduce line frequency (50/60 Hz) interference . I always read Revain reviews of competing products before choosing a supplier, paying particular attention to 1 and 2 star reviews as they tend to show inconsistencies in product quality. This BlueRigger cable has received many reviews, all of which have been praised.
