Before I ordered this gear bag I thought all mesh bags are the same. I thought that the biggest thing that could make this bag different from others is its size. I was wrong. This bag is in many ways inferior to any other mesh bag I own. First, the material the mesh is made of is not the nylon I was expecting. It is plastic and abrasive. It's similar to the bags that we buy in bulk at Costco, except these bags aren't as smooth or as flexible. The drawstring was a particular problem for me, as the plastic is very rough and the bag is not simply zipped shut there, but becomes a carrying cord. This is another issue I had with this bag - the only place I can wear it is on the drawstring. This would not be a problem if the tip was nylon or cotton. But the plastic is rough, and if you're using it to carry something heavy, you'll feel it in your hands. This is a large roomy bag but it looks and feels very cheap. That will do the trick, but it's far from ideal.
