Okay here's the deal with this thing, it's badly designed. Aesthetically it's pretty cool. Functionally, it does not meet almost all of my expectations of a speaker. I don't like touch controls. Even if you know what you're tapping, sometimes your touches don't register because the rate at which input is received is limited. If I press the volume up button too quickly, only about 50% of my touches are registered on the device. It's also impossible to know what you're touching unless you're looking directly at it or understanding where your finger lands. It's not hard to remember the location of the buttons, so they can be used lying in bed at night in the dark, which is what I did. Trouble is, if you accidentally touch something you didn't intend, it's a disaster. I also sometimes forget touch controls when I pick it up. You have to remember that you only have to take it by the sides. The functionality of TF card mode is what I use first. This speaker was bought so I could play a 24 hour white noise file over it to block out noisy neighbors, especially when I'm sleeping. The TF card function has a HUGE DELAY between changing tracks and also when the TF card mode is initialized for the first time. I haven't timed it exactly, but I'd say it's about 45 seconds, maybe more, maybe less. It doesn't matter anyway, because that's an unacceptable length of silence. Luckily, my white noise file is 24 hours long, so I only have to deal with the break once a day. The sound of the Popclik Airybox is fine. I also occasionally use it to stream Netflix. It has good bass (it vibrates and you'll notice it if it's on a hard surface) and it's good enough for watching TV. If it weren't for the touch operation and the poorly implemented TF card playback, this loudspeaker would have received at least one more star, if not even 2. Just a small addition, I don't like the blue LED logo on the front. I'm so sick of the blue lights on devices. Everything in my room is too bright and distracting at night with blue light. You can't sleep with this stuff. I had to use masking tape to cover the front of the Airybox to block the blue light. I also put them on the back where the charge indicator is, but it's not as efficient. I also like the voice prompts on this speaker or no other. It's annoying and constantly reminding me that this device is made in China when I hear interrupted voice prompts in English. If you want to say something in English, ask an American to do it with your voice. You only make a fool of yourself by adding broken English with a heavy Chinese accent to your product. Oh, and this thing is a dust magnet. Just like oil.
