I use this all the time as I get nail dust all over the place when I work. However, it is quite noisy. So if you're using it with someone else, they probably won't hear you very well. I don't worry about that as I'm just doing my nails. This should be kept in mind by anyone who may not be living alone or working with other people. I've seen people say the suction doesn't work - mine works fine, haven't noticed any mess and I've had it for about 2 months and used it about once a week. I even use it for filing clay pendants and some arts and crafts projects and I only shake the filter out every now and then and have had no problems!
