These packs work great for our 4-5 hour road trips to the cabin. Seems to keep food cold when food is packed along with multiple freezer packs. We used ice in a ziplock back once but this seems to cause some moisture condensation on the outside of the pack so we've stayed with freezer packs. You can get a fair amount of food in there including taller items like milk cartons and juice containers. We've also starting using them routinely when grocery shopping. They fit perfectly on the bagging stand and stay upright and open while you pack up your food. You can put quite a bit of items in there and even when packed heavy, there's no sign of tearing. We liked them so much, we bought several more sets.
