Excellent Kit for LCD Displays

A great set for the price. I had an old iPad that I wanted to redo but it had a cracked screen. It wasn't worth having it professionally repaired. The kit contains all the parts you need to replace the screen, including a new digitizer and Wi-Fi antenna (which are easily damaged when removed or are often damaged when initially broken). In addition to the kit, you'll need, as a bare minimum, a hair dryer (or hair dryers) and a set of computer screwdrivers (most kits include the #1, #0, and #00 you need). If you're looking to buy a kit, look for a magnetic kit that holds small screws. The iPad screws are SMALL (4 for removing the LCD and maybe 4 more if you need to replace the wifi antenna. I would also consider having extra glue on hand (double sided tape works), some guitar picks to fix the to hold removed glue (so it doesn't chill together) and an exacto knife/spatula to make scraping the glue easier more detail. The process can be a little tedious but not necessarily complicated. I'd recommend watching a YouTube video on (1) replacing the screen (2) installing a digitizer and (3) installing a Wi-Fi antenna The last two videos give you a good idea of where these parts are so you can try to locate them as you remove them to avoid, and how to specifically replace them if you need to (some screen replacement videos skip this).

Pros
  • This is a FixCracked branded replacement.
Cons
