First I will say that I like the shoes but they are big. My daughter is 6 months old and she wears size 4 in shoes and 12-18 months in clothes but these shoes are big. They say size 3 inside. I will order 6 to 9 months and put them on a bit it won't take long and she can wear them they are wide but the velcro helps if your baby has skinny feet as I hate the shoes that they do don't fit, but for that price you can afford to get another pair
