I have been suffering from acute plantar fasciitis for 6 months. I had 4 injections, wore a boot for a month and am currently doing physical therapy 2 times a week. But after thinking about it for about a week, I decided it wasn't that bad. I received the purple ones and they are exactly the same color as the picture. They may look like lace-up shoes, but they're not. These are non-slip shoes that some people may need a shoehorn for. I do not know. The day I got them I immediately put them on and started running and I'll be damned if I didn't notice a difference within the first few steps. GAME CHANGE! I wear them only 6 days and wear them every day. Today my GP thought I was doing so well that she canceled my other appointment this week and wants to see me next week to see how I'm doing the week off therapy. If I'm fine, she's ready to let me go! woo hoo! What a long process that is. To all who suffer from this condition, I sympathize with you and the reason for my post. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because I think the shoe would be PERFECT if they added extra padding to the heel. I know I would have recovered in less time if he had had a pad. Also, these shoes were sent from God. A NOTICE. Before ordering, make sure you check if you can return your shoes for a full refund if you need to return them for any reason.
