I was looking for pants for hiking or walking and that they had enough pockets so I didn't need anything else to carry my wallet and phone. They fit perfectly! It has two regular side pockets (I keep my keys in one), two small zipped pockets on the back, one zipped mid-thigh pocket on the side/front of my left leg (which I keep a slim wallet/purse in). thing and my lipstick inside) and a large open pocket on the side/back of your right leg (perfect for my phone!). I've read some reviews that mention the "noise" the stuff makes. That's true, but I didn't find it too disturbing.
