This has been my first motorcycle jacket since I just bought my first bike. I read review after review and finally settled on this one - and I'm very glad I did! The size chart is very accurate - I have broad shoulders and chest, for women's jackets I usually buy XXL or even XXXL to fit, for men's jackets I usually get by with XL but prefer XXL for comfort. I chose 2 diva for this jacket and it is perfect! I was sure I would have to buy a men's jacket to get the right fit, but this jacket really surprised me. The quality is top-notch, from the removable lining to the mesh jacket itself. When it comes to assembly, it all fits together - at the back of the head and at the wrists on both sleeves. The "hard shell" panels on the elbows, shoulders and spine give me a great feeling of protection - but if you don't feel like putting them on, there are hook and loop fasteners in the lining that you can slide them in and out through. The three adjustable straps along the back are great for a good fit, although I don't think I need to adjust them as this jacket isn't thin - I don't see it blowing in the wind. Haven't had the chance to wear this in very hot weather yet - as we haven't had anything to buy rain and cold for the past few days, but hot weather riding is essentially what I bought it for. so i hope this keeps me cool! I don't see where it isn't because the mesh is of very good quality and actually feels nice. The design and colors of the jacket are very nice in person - the photo doesn't do it justice.
