Review on 🍷 Le Creuset Compact Wine Opener by Crystal Wille

How can I rate this? I just ordered my fourth pocket wine corkscrew. It really is 5 stars - the best/easiest design I've ever used is a corkscrew, ie if it doesn't break. The first lasted almost 4 years, the second - 2 years, the third not even two months (1 star). I hope they improved the plastic material. I would pay $50 for an aluminum (outer) version of this design (with a sharp screw). Until someone comes up with it, I've learned to avoid plastic and composite plugs (for as long as I can tell) - they seem to lead to premature failure. However, I would still recommend it to anyone struggling with other corkscrew designs, using it less heavily and/or willing to take the risk of replacing.
