Don't waste your time.
This is a piece of junk and proof that they don't do things the way they used to. My old Presto cheese slicer died and I was happy to replace it. But it's a cheap metal (or plastic?) with a metallic coating that's peeling everywhere. There are small metal flakes in each piece of cheese. I'm sure it's dangerous for our health. This is a big disappointment.
