The reviews led me to purchase this mixer; unfortunately, it is really poor quality. For the sake of my kitchen and my clothing, whenever I whip cream at a concentration of 33 percent—as is necessary while making cakes and pastries—I cover the mixer with a towel. As soon as I stopped trying to slant, tilt, or otherwise manipulate its orientation, I held it perfectly vertically. After a year of pain, I finally chucked it down the trash chute today.
